Hello and welcome! I'm a Registered Dietitian, team leader, entrepreneur, adventurer, and mom. In 2012 I found myself in private practice and it's been an amazing journey. Truly ever-evolving!
I greatly value the importance of an inclusive practice. I've dedicated years and continue to learn, listen, advocate, collaborate, connect, and work to change systems that perpetuate discrimination, stigma, oppression, injustice, and undignified health care.
I invite curiosity as we navigate the complexity of client's lives and how it affects meal planning, eating habits and patterns, food availability, making meaningful changes, body image, and their relationship to food. I encourage a focus on markers of health, symptom improvement, food and body relationship, and client confidence or self efficacy as a measure of progress and/or recovery.

My clients' lived experience plays a huge role when it comes to exploring their health. Today I primarily support clients with:
Aside from 1:1 client care I also love working with the media, including television, radio, print, and sponsored social media content. I've worked with a variety of Canada-wide, and international brands. I've also had the pleasure of working with Best Health Magazine, Canadian Living, Chatelaine, Toronto Tonic, Cottage Life Magazine, Co-op's Table Magazine, The Globe and Mail, CTV News Morning, and Saskatoon's Global News Morning. Find more of my media presence here.
I love public speaking and have presented to and worked with many small and large groups throughout Saskatchewan including community groups, corporate wellness, post secondary schools, and professional groups.
I have a great appreciation for local agriculture and love learning from our local food producers.
As a busy mom and business owner, I consider myself a passable home cook with a passion for creating family-friendly, low maintenance meals and snacks. Recipes are shared on the Blog.

Along with learning from you, I bring assessment and planning skills from my experience in acute care, outpatient nutrition counselling, long-term care, and community settings within Saskatchewan Health Authority.
At Food to Fit, I primarily support clients with the following:
A person's relationship with food begins in their childhood — and by nurturing that relationship early, families can build the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity, confidence, and perhaps even joy with food.
I completed my nutrition education at the University of Saskatchewan and have experience working with families, and parents of children and youth in both 1:1 and group settings. I am certified in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding.

We all have the innate ability to heal. Regardless of our background, age, or goals for therapy each person has the capacity to grow and evolve. Having the courage to change is the foundation of a better life. “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” – Donna Barnes. I aim to work from a place of true authenticity, as I know first-hand what it takes to make that first step in recovery. One day at a time.
The majority of my work experience has been with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, which includes: acute care, mental health and addictions, case management, family dynamics and relationships.

I received my BSW through the University of Regina and completed my practicums at International Women of Saskatoon and Bridgepoint Center for Eating Disorders. I have completed the Somatic Experiencing (trauma work) training and have my certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).
I am bilingual - fluent in French (both speaking and writing), and I have my level 1 yoga teacher training.
Finally, I’m a proud mother of two amazing children who teach me every day about patience, grace, and that it is ok to make mistakes.
Eating can be an emotional experience that takes you back to a certain time or place. It can be the catalyst to a gathering between friends or family, or help celebrate your culture. Eating can also be an unpleasant experience for those with gastrointestinal issues, which can lead to stress or anxiety around food and eating. I want to help you find strategies to improve your gastrointestinal symptoms, quality of life, and food relationship.

I try to stay up to date with the latest nutrition trends as well as the ever-evolving body of evidence-based literature. I am also a member of Dietitians of Canada. Feel free to reach out to me for more information at any time. I look forward to being part of your journey!
My experience demonstrates that, despite popular belief, diets and weight loss are not required to improve health, even if you have been diagnosed with a chronic condition. Restrictive diets don't work long term, nor do they help people feel more empowered or motivated. Instead, my approach focuses on overall health and wellness. I help my clients build meaningful nutrition and lifestyle habits that are sustainable long term.
I want to help you feel more empowered and equip you with the knowledge and skills to better manage your cholesterol, blood sugars, or chronic condition. Together we will create a plan that both improves your relationship with food, and works towards health-promoting goals. Eating can be pleasurable and you deserve to experience greater peace around food and meals!

I am a member of Dietitians of Canada. I stay current in the field of dietetics through reading journal articles, attending webinars and networking with my colleagues. I continue to learn and grow from the clients I have the privilege of working with.
If feeding your little one isn’t going the way you imagined - maybe because of reflux, picky eating, slow growth, or allergies and sensitivities—you’re not alone. You want answers that make sense for your child, and reassurance that you’re doing the right thing. You’re in the right place.
I work with expecting parents, and families of children from birth to six years old. My approach is baby-led, individualized, and relationship-focused - how we feed is just as important as what we feed. My goal is to help you feel confident, reduce stress around feeding, and support your child’s growth, development, and autonomy.
While I work with a wide range of infant and child feeding challenges, I have particular expertise in non-IgE food allergies such as FPIES, FPIAP, CMPA, MSPI, and EoE. I help families navigate these complex situations safely and confidently.
I also bring specialized training and experience in:
I continue to build my education in the infant microbiome, tongue ties, child development, attachment, and trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care.
Feeding is about more than nutrition—it’s about connection, safety, and trust. My role is to bring both expertise and compassion.
What this means for you/your child:
Finding peace with food and your body can feel complicated in a world full of rules and expectations. With compassion, curiosity, and practical support, my role is to meet you where you are and move forward together.
Nourishment is an essential part of self-care, and food is more than nutrients – it is tied to joy, comfort, identity, and belonging. Diet culture and food rules push the idea that health is only about eating “right” and exercising more. Yet, health involves mental, emotional, and social well being. Your quality of life and food relationship matter, so lets work towards enhancing nutrition and wellness, without diet culture and disordered eating.

We are all worthy of treatment no matter where we are in our journey. Eating disorders and disordered eating can impact people of all bodies, backgrounds, and identities. Appearance alone cannot determine the presence or severity of an eating disorder or disordered eating.
I am a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, Mom of 2 and advocate for mental health. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse areas of care, including mental health, eating disorders, diabetes, pediatrics, long-term care, and a wide range of acute-care settings across British Columbia, Ontario, and now Saskatchewan. These experiences have shaped my practice and deepened my belief in the power of compassionate, evidence based and client/family centered care.

In my diabetes practice, I work with clients to build confidence and self-efficacy in integrating blood glucose management into their everyday life. This includes developing practical nutrition strategies, supporting flexibility, and helping clients understand their bodies’ needs. I focus on empowering individuals to make informed choices, navigate challenges, and foster a balanced relationship with food while living well with diabetes and pursuing their personal goals.
I have immense respect for anyone navigating an eating disorder or disordered eating. I want to walk alongside you—to help you nourish your body, strengthen the skills needed to rebuild trust in yourself, and create space for the values, goals, and joys that matter to you in life. Together, we work to quiet the noise of the disordered eating voice and cultivate a more peaceful, positive relationship with food.
