Hello and welcome! I'm a Registered Dietitian, team leader, entrepreneur, adventurer, and mom. In 2012 I found myself in private practice and it's been an amazing journey. Truly ever-evolving!

I greatly value the importance of an inclusive practice. I've dedicated years and continue to learn, listen, advocate, collaborate, connect, and work to change systems that perpetuate discrimination, stigma, oppression, injustice, and undignified health care.

I invite curiosity as we navigate the complexity of client's lives and how it affects meal planning, eating habits and patterns, food availability, making meaningful changes, body image, and their relationship to food. I encourage a focus on markers of health, symptom improvement, food and body relationship, and client confidence or self efficacy as a measure of progress and/or recovery.

I greatly value the importance of an inclusive practice. I've dedicated years and continue to learn, listen, advocate, collaborate, connect, and work to change systems that perpetuate discrimination, stigma, oppression, injustice, and undignified health care.

My clients' lived experience plays a huge role when it comes to exploring their health.

Today I primarily support clients with:

    • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome(PCOS)
    • Fertility
    • Disorders of the gut-brain Interaction such as: Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Functional Dyspepsia, Functional Diarrhea, and Functional Constipation
    • Disordered eating and food relationship counseling

Aside from 1:1 client care I also love working with the media, including television, radio, print, and sponsored social media content. I've worked with a variety of Canada-wide, and international brands. I've also had the pleasure of working with Best Health Magazine, Canadian Living, Chatelaine, Toronto Tonic, Cottage Life Magazine, Co-op's Table Magazine, The Globe and Mail, CTV News Morning, and Saskatoon's Global News Morning. Find more of my media presence here.

I love public speaking and have presented to and worked with many small and large groups throughout Saskatchewan including community groups, corporate wellness, post secondary schools, and professional groups.

I have a great appreciation for local agriculture and love learning from our local food producers.

As a busy mom and business owner, I consider myself a passable home cook with a passion for creating family-friendly, low maintenance meals and snacks. Recipes are shared on the Blog.

A person's relationship with food begins in their childhood — and by nurturing that relationship early, families can build the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity, confidence, and perhaps even joy with food.

I completed my nutrition education at the University of Saskatchewan and have experience working with families, and parents of children and youth in both 1:1 and group settings.  I am certified in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding.

A person's relationship with food begins in their childhood — and by nurturing that relationship early, families can build the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity, confidence, and perhaps even joy with food.

My role at Food to Fit includes supporting families of children and/or youth ages 7-14 with:

    • Eating differences, food aversions or fears  that may relate to sensory sensitivities, Autism spectrum, and/or ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder).
    • ADHD related eating challenges. E.g. under-nourishment, forgetting to eat, eating impulsively, mealtime overwhelm, or medication-related appetite suppression.
    • Expanding on accepted foods and building food confidence. Establishing positive, low-pressure mealtime routines.
    • Family-based strategies to support growth and development.

I completed my nutrition education at the University of Saskatchewan and have experience working with families, and parents of children and youth in both 1:1 and group settings.  I am certified in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding.

I draw on evidence-based, compassionate strategies to meet each child where they are at and work together with the family to create positive mealtime experiences that reduce stress on both child and care providers.

My experience demonstrates that, despite popular belief, diets and weight loss are not required to improve health, even if you have been diagnosed with a chronic condition. Restrictive diets don't work long term, nor do they help people feel more empowered or motivated. Instead, my approach focuses on overall health and wellness. I help my clients build meaningful nutrition and lifestyle habits that are sustainable long term.

I want to help you feel more empowered and equip you with the knowledge and skills to better manage your cholesterol, blood sugars, or chronic condition. Together we will create a plan that both improves your relationship with food, and works towards health-promoting goals. Eating can be pleasurable and you deserve to experience greater peace around food and meals!

If feeding your little one isn’t going the way you imagined - maybe because of reflux, picky eating, slow growth, or allergies and sensitivities—you’re not alone. You want answers that make sense for your child, and reassurance that you’re doing the right thing. You’re in the right place.

I work with expecting parents, and families of children from birth to six years old. My approach is baby-led, individualized, and relationship-focused - how we feed is just as important as what we feed. My goal is to help you feel confident, reduce stress around feeding, and support your child’s growth, development, and autonomy.

My approach is baby-led, individualized, and relationship-focused - how we feed is just as important as what we feed. My goal is to help you feel confident, reduce stress around feeding, and support your child’s growth, development, and autonomy.

While I work with a wide range of infant and child feeding challenges, I have particular expertise in non-IgE food allergies such as FPIES, FPIAP, CMPA, MSPI, and EoE. I help families navigate these complex situations safely and confidently.

I also bring specialized training and experience in:

    • Prenatal nutrition and preparing for infant feeding
    • Lactation and infant feeding (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, T.O.T.S. Training and reflex-based oral function provider)
    • Infant gut health and GI issues (IgE and non-IgE allergies, colic, reflux, constipation, GERD)
    • Eczema and gut-related concerns
    • Growth and nutrient deficiencies
    • Feeding differences in autistic, ADHD and other neurodivergent children

I continue to build my education in the infant microbiome, tongue ties, child development, attachment, and trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care.

Feeding is about more than nutrition—it’s about connection, safety, and trust. My role is to bring both expertise and compassion.

What this means for you/your child:

    • Your child’s cues come first – I help you notice and interpret your child’s hunger, fullness, subtle symptoms, and behaviors, so mealtimes feel safer and less stressful.
    • Every child’s needs are unique – Together we create strategies that meet your child’s specific needs while fostering independence, curiosity, and comfort with eating.
    • You are the expert on your child – You know your child best, and my role is to help you tap into your intuition and translate what you see into safe, practical, and confidence-building feeding strategies.
    • Connection matters – Feeding is a time for trust, bonding, and joy, not pressure or worry.
    • Every family is honored – I respect your culture, routines, and family/child differences, tailoring strategies that truly work for you.

Finding peace with food and your body can feel complicated in a world full of rules and expectations. With compassion, curiosity, and practical support, my role is to meet you where you are and move forward together.

Nourishment is an essential part of self-care, and food is more than nutrients – it is tied to joy, comfort, identity, and belonging. Diet culture and food rules push the idea that health is only about eating “right” and exercising more. Yet, health involves mental, emotional, and social well being. Your quality of life and food relationship matter, so lets work towards enhancing nutrition and wellness, without diet culture and disordered eating.

A most heartfelt farewell and best wishes to team A most heartfelt farewell and best wishes to team dietitian @sydthedietitian 🩷 Sydney will spend her year out of province to complete her Masters in Social Work.

Sydney just celebrated 5 years with F2F. When she came to my office in early 2020, I was taken aback by her passion, knowledge about non diet nutrition care, and a certainty about what she wanted from private practice. I saw an opportunity and we both jumped in. We opened the Regina office in June 2020, at the beginning of COVID🫣, taking on a risk. It proved to be one of the best moves for us both😀🙌🏻
-
It's been a pleasure to mentor Sydney, watch her career grow, and learn from her. While I'm sad to see her go, I'm more excited about her next steps. Thank you for your commitment these past 5 years Sydney 💛💛
F2F RD and owner @brookebullochrd and RSW, Monique F2F RD and owner @brookebullochrd and RSW, Monique Roy, joined Rock your Roots today! A beautiful walk with a huge turnout!

We take time to recognize the effect of settler colonialism on the health and well-being of indigenous people's past and present. We also recognize the ties between colonialism, racism and anti-fat bias. Embracing these discussions at F2F and committed to learning and growing. We see our role in health advocacy, justice, equity🧡🧡

Staying hydrated isn’t just a summer thing—it’s a Staying hydrated isn’t just a summer thing—it’s a year-round habit that helps your body thrive. Fluids support digestion, remove waste from the body, cushion joints, control body temperature, support blood sugar regulation, and help prevent dehydration.

So how much should you drink?
A common recommendation is 6 to 8 cups of water or other fluids per day; BUT everyone’s needs are different—it depends on your health, activity level, and the weather. You may need more if you're active or in a hot climate.

Here are some tips to increase your fluid intake:
- Sip fluids throughout the day—even before you feel thirsty.
- Choose water first.
- Keep a refillable water bottle with you so you have access to water at any time of day.
- Add flavour with lemon, lime, cucumber, or mint.
- Include other fluids like milk, 100% juice, broth, and herbal tea.
- Drink extra water when you're active or it’s hot out. You might add an electrolyte tab that contains sodium to aid in hydration status (sodium is the primary electrolyte lost in sweat).
