Registered Dietitian (candidate)
Some of the smartest, most interesting, and most passionate people I know struggle with their relationship with food, and yet they are still all of those things. People are not what they eat—they are so much more. I am passionate about helping people find peace with food and rediscover the joy of nurturing their bodies.
I have recently graduated from the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan. For many years, I have focused my learning on disordered eating, eating disorders, and healthy food and body relationships. I also have personal experience with plant-based eating which has greatly evolved over time. My role at Food to Fit includes helping individuals with the following:
- Chronic dieting/disordered eating recovery
- Food relationship counseling
- Chronic disease prevention
- Plant-based eating
I am a Dietitians of Canada member, and I am active in several national dietitian support groups. I keep up with the latest research, podcasts, and webinars on non-diet topics, and I aim to keep up-to-date with what is happening in the world that could be affecting my clients.
