My professional experience includes a variety of practice areas: school nutrition, community nutrition, outpatient counselling, health education, clinical nutrition and long term care. At Food to Fit Nutrition, I support individuals with:
- Thyroid conditions such as Hypothyroidism, Graves’ disease, and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
- Management of cholesterol and triglycerides, heart disease, and metabolic syndrome
- Insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes
- Celiac disease
- Functional gut disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
I am a member of Dietitians of Canada. I stay current in the field of dietetics through reading literature, listening to podcasts, attending webinars and networking with my colleagues. I continue to learn and grow through experience and from the clients I have the privilege of working with.
