Dayna Berry

Registered Dietitian, Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy Counselor

I have seen time and time again the way diet culture and "healthism" have broken the most beautiful people. I aim to support clients in focusing not on their outter shell, but working through their food relationship issues in order to make more space and energy for their desires and what is important in their lives.

My professional experience includes acute care, chronic kidney disease, diabetes management, and disordered eating. At Food to Fit Nutrition I primarily support individuals to find peace with food whether related to:

  • Chronic dieting

  • Disordered eating

  • Poor body image

  • Clinically diagnosed eating disorders

I am certified in Craving Change, a program focused on improving one's relationship with food and helping to overcome problematic eating triggers. I am also an EDIT™ (eating disorder intuitive therapy) counsellor, certified to support individuals with disordered eating patterns, clinically diagnosed eating disorders, binge eating, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder. EDIT™ is a holistic approach which addresses the root cause of eating disorders and focuses on symptom reduction. As treatment progresses, healing occurs at all levels - mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.

I am also an active committee member of both Nourish YXE and the SWADE Committee in Saskatoon. Nourish aims to cultivate a body acceptance revolution in Canada by encouraging people of all ages, abilities, identities, and sizes to honour and celebrate themselves (and others) just as they are – and to explore health and wellness practices that don’t focus on weight loss as the primary goal. SWADE (Saskatoon Weight Attitudes and Disordered Eating) is an interdisciplinary committee of professionals working to promote the prevention and treatment of disordered eating at the community, elementary, high school and post-secondary levels.

Please feel free to contact me directly, to discuss my approach in further detail or to ask any questions prior to booking.
