I have seen time and time again the way diet culture and "healthism" have broken the most beautiful people. I aim to support clients in focusing not on their outer shell, but working through their food relationship issues in order to make more space and energy for their desires and what is important in their lives.

At Food to Fit Nutrition I primarily support individuals (teens and adults) and families concerning:

  • Chronic dieting/critically addressing diet culture
  •

  • Disordered eating/improving relationship with food
  •

  • Body image concerns
  •

  • Clinically diagnosed eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder)
  •

I am a certified EDIT™ (eating disorder intuitive therapy) counsellor, supporting individuals with disordered eating patterns, clinically diagnosed eating disorders, binge eating, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). EDIT™ is a holistic approach which addresses the root cause of eating disorders and focuses on symptom reduction. As treatment progresses, healing occurs at all levels - mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.

I am also an active committee member of both Nourish YXE and the SWADE Committee in Saskatoon. Nourish aims to cultivate a body acceptance revolution in Canada by encouraging people of all ages, abilities, identities, and sizes to honour and celebrate themselves (and others) just as they are – and to explore health and wellness practices that don’t focus on weight loss as the primary goal. SWADE (Saskatoon Weight Attitudes and Disordered Eating) is an interdisciplinary committee of professionals working to promote the prevention and treatment of disordered eating at the community, elementary, high school and post-secondary levels.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss my approach in further detail or to ask any questions prior to booking.
