My background is primarily in acute care as a Clinical Dietitian, specifically working in neurosciences and geriatrics.
Over the years I've refined my focus to support individuals with their perceived weight issues. Understanding that knowledge does not create behaviour change, I've developed a passion for helping clients create goals that are sustainable and specific to their lifestyle - there is no one-size-fits-all plan for sustainable change.
I am fascinated not just by what people eat, but also WHY they eat the way they do. My goal is to help you improve your eating habits, tackle barriers, and provide ongoing support.
I am also a hip hop dance teacher with Brenda's School of Dance and Baton, and in my spare time I love to cook, bake, and garden and my interest in food leads me to try new recipes and experiment with new flavours. I am most inspired to cook quick and healthy meals that maximize nutritional intake despite my own busy lifestyle.
Through my experiences as Clinical Dietitian and dance instructor, I've seen the progress one can make with dedication, support from family or friends, and personalized nutrition support.
